Ohio Valley Emmy winners announced

Harbsmeier, Fulmer and York honored for their years of distinguished service

The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences handed out the hardware in Cincinnati on Saturday night as the 49th Annual Ohio Valley Emmy Awards ceremony was held.

While our Evansville-market nominees — Eyewitness News anchors Brad Byrd and Randy Moore and photographer Brian Cissell  did not win, several from markets immediately north, east and south did, and you can find the complete, official list here.

In addition to the Emmy Awards, several from this part of the country were honored with the Ohio Valley Chapter's Gold and Silver Circle honors. This recognition is bestowed upon those with more than 25 years (Silver) or 50 years (Gold) of distinguished service to the television industry.  This year's honorees include:
Bud Harbsmeier, WHAS11, Louisville

Barry Fulmer, WDRB, Louisville
Steve York, WAVE 3, Louisville
