VINCENNES: WFML drops variety, switches to classic rock

There's a new classic rock station in he Tri-State:  Vincennes' WFML (96.7 FM) has made the switch from its former variety format.

The announcement of the switch came Sunday evening from DLC Media president Dave Crooks on Twitter:


The station has kept one thing from its former format: Its on-air name, "MAX 96.7," remains the same. Its slogan is now "Classic Rock to the MAX!"

DLC Media, based in Washington, Ind., operates WFML for its owner, the Vincennes University Foundation. The company also owns WAMW-AM and FM (95.9 FM/1580 AM and 107.9 FM) in Washington and WAXI (104.9 FM) in Rockville, Ind.
