But what happens to After MidNite? Garner takes over morning show at NASH-FM in NYC

It looks like some Tri-State radio listeners will have to find someone else to take 'em through the overnight hours as Blair Garner, the host of the syndicated country program After MidNite, has been named host of NASH-FM's new morning show in New York City, according to All Access.

Owned by Cumulus, NASH-FM recently went live as the radio giant's new national country brand.  For now, at least, Garner will only host the NYC morning show, but it would seem silly to take a nationally-known host and use him in just one market.

After MidNite, which is syndicated by Clear Channel, is currently heard in our area on WDDD (107.3, Johnston City, Ill.), WRAY-FM (98.1, Princeton, Ind.) and WAMZ (97.5, Louisville). There's no word yet on how much longer that will remain the case.

I'll keep you posted.
