BRIEF: ZUUS Media buys The Country Network

Has renamed diginet "ZUUS Country"

The Country Network, which is carried as a digital subchannel on several TV stations in our region (see below), has a new owner and a new name.

ZUUS Media (pronounced "Zeus") purchased the four-year-old diginet late last month, and it's now known as ZUUS Country.

For now, at least, there's no plan to change the programming of the network, which largely consists of country music videos from the past 30 years.

ZUUS Country can be seen on WDKA-ch. 49.3 (Paducah), WNAB-ch. 58.2 (Nashville) and KDNL-ch. 30.3 (St. Louis), as well as online at tcncountry.com.
