3ABN programming comes to Roku

West Frankfort, Ill.-based Christian broadcaster 3ABN, which broadcasts in Evansville on channel 23 (W23BV-D), announced Thursday that all of its networks will now be available, in addition to over the air and online, through Roku streaming devices.

The channels, which are available in the Roku Channel Store free of charge, include not just 3ABN's broadcast channels but three which are not normally available on air, at least locally:

  • 3ABN
  • 3ABN Latino, 3ABN's Spanish-language service
  • 3ABN Proclaim, a 24-hour preaching and teaching network
  • SonBeam, with Christian programming geared toward children
  • Dare to Dream, 3ABN's urban-oriented network
  • and 3ABN Russia
Roku devices, which cost from about $50 to $100, are the most popular streaming devices on the market, with millions in service. They are available online and in major department stores like Walmart and elsewhere.
