A somber TUESDAY TIME MACHINE: Remembering the Carrollton bus crash, 25 years later

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the deadliest DUI crash in the history of the United States, the Carrollton, Ky. bus crash on Interstate 71 (between Louisville and Cincinnati). Twenty-seven of the 67 passengers on a church bus from Radcliff, Ky. died and 34 were injured when Larry Mahoney's pickup truck - driving the wrong way - rammed head-on into the bus and set it ablaze.

WAVE 3 in Louisville has set up a special section on the station's website with both vintage and current video and more. You can see it by clicking here.
